¿What it's Yoga?

The simplest definition of the Sanskrit word Yoga, is union. Union between mind, body, spirit and the Divine. Yoga is a disciplined active process, not only of the body, but of the mind and of any daily activity. It’s the way we engage with the world to create harmony. Yoga is how we participate and create relationships. Yoga is moving towards an experiential reality where one knows the ultimate nature of existence, hence it is a complete path that not only includes physical movement, but control of the breath, taming of the mind, finding devotion in selfless action and not harming others or oneself.    

Facts About Yoga

You can go for weeks without food, days without water, but only a few minutes without breathing. Breathing has such an immediate impact on your mind and body that even the act of inhaling vs. exhaling affects your nervous system differently. It’s common to train in diet, exercise and even hydration, but almost no one trains their breath. This is a huge missed opportunity for health-seekers.
